On a hike down the J.A. Pollock family trail way near the Victoria Street bridge I came across a pair of damelflies that were skimming along the surface of the Grand and seemingly landing on the water. On closer inspection they were landing on some long flowing weeds that were just bellow the surface of the water. Every now and then the vegetation would poke up and one or both of the insects would land. I took this picture as one landed and the other flew by behind.
