Today was my first day on the banks of the Grand after a two week vacation. I chose a favorite spot of mine near the convergence with the speed river in Cambridge. I don't think I am alone in my belief that this is a special place. Whenever I run in to a walker they are quick to proudly declare that this spot is one of the finest views of the Grand River.
I had just scrambled down an embankment when I noticed these ripe apples growing near the river's edge. I had taken a photo in January of a apple tree further south on the same trail. The light was gorgeous so I decided this picture would be the post today.
Good to be back.
