An 18-year-old New York Mets fan, Ryan Leli, was arrested on Friday for impersonating a reporter. Leli used fake ID to try to get into the Mets clubhouse in order to talk to his favourite players.
Sure, security is on most people's minds in these troubled times (actually, every "time" has been troubled but that's another story). But still. Leli, is convicted, faces up to seven years in prison.
A bit much, no? If the Mets and baseball and the police were as tough on performance-enhancing drugs as they might be with this kid . . .
Sheesh.
