Brutal. My dad played in the 50's for Detroit, Boston and Chicago (which team to cheer for this year ? ). While he always said they were paid similiar to a teacher, police officer or fire fighter, he lived a very modest life during and after the game. If only we could turn back the clocks, us common folks could actually afford to go watch a game now and again.

Alex Rodriguez: 2012-13 Salary $33,000,000 will likely play ~120 Games.

Pay per game $275,000

Bi-weekly pay (~8 games) $2,000,000+

By the end of his current contract will be 41 years old, A-rod will have earned over $500,000,000 in salary and endorsements.

BUT...by the time done of his current contract in 2015/16 Lebron James will be just 31 years old, he will have earned even more than A-Rod..almost $600,000,000 in salary, bonuses and a mountain of endoresement money.

$600,000,000 over (13 years X average of 80 games/year + ~160 playoff games=1200 games)= $500,000 /game

7 games every 2 weeks...$3.5 million / bi-weekly...come on...really?

Any hey if he were living in Canada, he could collect the maximum EI because he is a seasonal worker! :)
