ROMANS 9:36 (KING JAMES VERSION)
As it is written, FOR thy sake we are killed all the day long,We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
ROMANS 9:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
ROMANS 9:38 For I am persuaded,that neither death,nor life,nor angels,nor principalities,nor powers,nor things present,nor things to come.
ROMANS 9:39 Nor Height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
A typed in quote from page 666- Subtitled "Paul's Concern for Israel"... from the King James Bible.

I feel your pain. With the ministry we feel God is leaidng us to I often want to say to God, you sure? . I have this idea of a person that just needs minor adjustments. Someone more like me. But, God may send a true basket case for us to pour ourselves into. Maybe ya'll can help me with this. How do you disciple a basket case without enabling. How do you provide emotional support while still holding them spiritually accountable. I tend to look at Jesus' example. It seem that He was brutally honest with people but with complete love. That type of discipleship evoked change and didn't just supply another shoulder to cry on until the basket case found a different person to mooch emotion from. I don't think there is anything wrong with looking someone in the eye and saying are you really willing to do the work to grow in Christ or are you just in this for the warm fuzzy. Christ looked the rich young ruler in the eye and told him to sell out, give it all away, and follow him. As far as my follow is concerned it gets better the more I practice. Like anything does really. I find myself able to discern the Spirit more effectively when I spend time in the Word and in prayer. If its that easy I should do it all the time, but the fact is I don't. I constantly find myself looking around and thinking if I couldn't talk would my like say I care about nothing but Christ and the Kingdom of God. Most days it may just whisper. I know though that God began the work in me and He will finish it.
