Trojans a force on and off the field
Just returned from Forest Heights and it was a beauty on the football field.
The senior Trojans were absolutely brutal in the first half and only had two first downs, the first coming with 13.4 seconds left in the half.
But they rebounded big time to erase a 10-0 Grand River lead and won 27-16 to claim top spot in Division B.
Just as impressive as the score was the wicked fan support that included a DJ, band and tons of supporters. Easily the best crowd I've seen at a game in any high school sport so far this season.
And oh my, looks like the Huskies keep doing their thing. Thanks to a reader for pointing out that Huron Heights got by St. Benedict 28-20.

If you wanted to see an amazing crowd and school spririt, you should have checked out the game between the Highlanders and the Knights at University Stadium on Thursday night...The stands were almost filled...It looked like a championship game...the Dance teams from both schools were also there to cheer on their teams!!!!!
Go Highlanders!!!!!
