Rens check in

122008Hockey_01 Grand River may have lost the McKerlie Classic final to Pickering's St. Mary's, but one player sure finished with a beauty of a hit.

I can't tell who this is without the number, but the Mary's player looks like a bologna sandwich.

To be fair, it was a hard hitting game on both sides but photographer Dave Bebee sure captured a nice check in this photo.

In case you missed it, Pickering won 7-2 over Grand River. For more:  Monarchs rule the McKerlie Classic.
