sjam goes downhill? good joke rez? your garbo, u beat us what 6-3 or w.e. with 5-6 on pp and 1 empty net? noone cares for us right now in the season its a joke, wait till playoffs when we dont take stupid penalties for fun, (our real UofW coach who we actualy respect comes back) and wreck u, oh wait that wont happen because ull be out first round ;)

ya ur right, forest ull probly have an easy run to semis considering ur first but if u can loose to WCI then u def can lose to whoevers there waiting for u

sjam goes downhill from here

Josh
The comment was not aimed at you it was for all those who were bashing Rob above. I guess I should have added a few more question marks to show I was trying to be sarcastic. I think you are doing a great job Josh.
Hey wake up- It is great to have others who see the importance of a good jr coach and what it means for a program.

Let me sort out your confusion:

Without a coach, there is no team. It would be tough to focus on the athletes if without a team. Show some gratitude.

Withouta good junior coach, you don't have a true program. Consistent excellence comes from strong programs with strong coaches in junior.

Confused: I respectfully disagree.

Coaches are a big part of high school sports. If you read my blog regularly, which by your postings indicate that you do, you know that I put the emphasis on the kids.

But I write about coaches too and will never ignore their important role in high school sports.

Also, to clarify, in case there was some confusion. I never said junior sports were not important. I will continue to make senior sports my priority and continue writing about juniors playing varsity and exclusive junior sports when time permits.

I know the jr debate is over done but I am confused. If the jr. sports are not important why would a jr coach be included in the poll for the coach of year for the fall? At the same time the emphasis should be on the athletes not the coaches.

I take out the bad language as soon as I see it. That's the best I can do for now, until and if, we get a filter.

I have to say that, for the most part, people have been mature. Out of 759 posts to date, I've had to edit five for swearing.

I have no problem with chirping, as long as it's clean.

guess sjam just wanted to "loose and get drunk" again today??!!
and i agree - some comments are just immature and dumb..

Hi Josh

As much as I love reading your articles and some of the blog, I must say that as much as it is a public forum, there should be some ability to filter some of the language present. I think it reflects badly on you and the record in general. I know it is not you doing it but this is not the first time I have seen it here. I could stand corrected but it may be the same contributors again (reference to Mike Halmo above).

haha you guys are losers...they sat in the box cuase they hav animals like eby who just run around and start stuff for fun...and who would wanna do good in that tourny and ps vasille ur done wen i get bak from the sound :S

thats just an excuse cause they suck

sjam is gunna get gongshowed! they are aweful sat in the box the whole McKerlie classic and will be today they are absolutely horrible and should just call it a season cause from what i heard your 1st two lines were the best in all of WCSSA ..........bull they're crap

wow - i love when smart guys say their team wanted to lose

buddy sjam wanted to loose and get drunk? well see whatsup tommorow, hopefully ur 290 lb captain wont be at mcdonalds so sjam can have somone to laugh at, considering the rest of the team isnt worth 2 cents

c'mon buddy. Don't be a whiner about that. There has NEVER been Jr. All-Stars before - ever.

I wonder if all the different minor sports at ever level (house league, select, A, AA, AAA etc.) should get pictures of their all-stars too? The line has to be drawn somewhere. That line was drawn A LONG TIME AGO.

Congrats to your son. Hopefully this will be a 'carrot' for him to keep working hard to get a senior all-star nomination.

I'm sure when he's in Senior, you'll not give a rat's *** about junior all-stars.

hey rob, sure it sucks that someone gave your son the wrong information. maybe you should talk to his coach. that's usually how kids find out they are allstars.
also maybe D8 is different but having played WCSSAA sports, albeit it was a few years ago, i dont recall WCSSAA ever having JR allstars in any sport?

rez beat sjam already....no dust there

ya bennies grci will be dirty, but sjam rez? clearly it will be a one sided sjam dustshow of rez, sjams looking underrated this year, cant wait for playoff "upsets"
