Bluevale Collegiate got off to a good start at the Silver Fox senior boys basketball tournament in Hamilton.
The Knights took care of Ancaster in its opener 50-34. Srdjan Pejicic led the way with 16 points while Andrew Beney chipped in with 10 points.
The lads dropped the second contest 69-61 to Martingrove. Pejicic had 18, Beney 16.

A girls' hockey score missing from Tuesday was FHCI 8, BCI 2.

Eastwood beat WCI by 6. WCI was leading by 9 points with 5 minutes to go. Boyd was held to 10-16 points.
