Waterloo residents Dylan Henderson and Bennett Ruby, both 17, have been named to Golf Ontario’s under-19 team for the 2018 season.
The team will train throughout the winter at Peak Performance Golf in Vaughan and travel south for three warm weather camps that include the Can/Am Matches over March break against the South Carolina Junior Golf Association in Murrells Inlet, S.C.
Henderson (lower photo) attends Bluevale Collegiate and plays out of the Whistle Bear Golf Club and Ruby (above) is a Waterloo Collegiate student and regular at Westmount Golf and Country Club.
Both players are coached by Dave Smallwood at the Golf Performance Center at Whistle Bear.

The Resurrection Phoenix aren't going to the OFSAA field hockey championship next week for the first time since the tournament was held in 2009 at Budd Park in Kitchener.
It was an amazing run that isn't likely to be duplicated any time soon.
