After a couple of lean years the Kitchener Rangers headed to London's Budweiser Gardens full of confidence and ready to ride the best goalie in the league to hopefully a successful first round against the Knights. A combination of a hot goalie in the London net and an offence not quite clicking left the blue shirts one game down. As advertised Jake Paterson was at his acrobatic best stopping what seemed to be sure goals and keeping his team in the game until the end. Darby Llewellyn was the only Rangers sniper to solve Tyler Parsons in the London cage. With a little more luck around the net and continued solid play form Paterson game 2 could bring the series back to the Aud tied. Rangers fans will get their chance to match the mad house noise of the London fans.
