The Rangers are a top Centre and defensive defenceman away from contending. Probably a 1B goalie to go with option 1A Maxwell too.

Doug Flutie

Stop referring to us as "Saggy". If you are in Saginaw covering a Rangers game, I dare you to refer to Saginaw as "Saggy" and see how people react. I know you think it's a cute nickname but we have one nickname and one nickname only, it's Sagnasty. We're the most violent city in America 7 years running which makes us far from "Saggy." We're a blue collar town and we finally have a blue collar team. I've read "Saggy" here before and I hope I don't have to read it again. Thanks.

Jeff Hicks

Does Saginawzea make you feel any better?

Bill

Saggy is a better nickname than Doug Flutie.

About Jeff

  • Who was the last person to wear No. 18 for the Kitchener Rangers prior to Mike Richards? Yup. That was me, your faithful OHL observer. In a charity game the year Richie arrived. The jersey went down to my mini-Mike ankles. Now, six years later, he's on the Philly Flyers and I've got my own blog. In your face, Richards. Take the plunge with me and tell me what you think, any time.
