It's amazing what a relatively healthy lineup and a few new bodies can do to a team.
Since making the trade with Sudbury on Jan. 8th, the Kitchener Rangers have grabbed 24 out of a possible 30 points, going 11-2-0-2.
That has the club 11 back of the OHL western conference leaders the London Knights, thanks in part to a 4-3 win over the Knights on home ice last night. By the way, London has already clinched a playoff berth.
The victory also pushed the team past Owen Sound for third in the west.
Home ice advantage is the goal. The top four teams get it. And while catching London may be a bit of a stretch with 14 games to go, keeping snug in third spot is certainly attainable, even though the Attack have a game in hand on the Rangers.
