Actor Theo Rossi (in photo) has reached out to Kitchener Rangers goalie Tyson Teichmann over his goalie mask.
As reported here earlier this week, Teichmann had his helmet painted to honour the hit TV show Sons of Anarchy but the team felt it was inappropriate to highlight a fictitious bike gang.
So, Teichmann has had the mask repainted.
But Rossi, who plays "Juice" on the show, read the story and offered some support via Twitter. That resulted in Teichmann arranging to ship the mask to California for an autograph.
A pretty cool result considering the netminder had to change his lid, one that featured the same Sons images in Mississauga last year without issue.
Meanwhile, forward Matia Marcantuoni has been sent back to Kitchener from the Pittsburgh Penguins, leaving just Ben Thomson (NJ) and Radek Faksa (DAL) at NHL camps.
