It's turning into a rough week for the Kitchener Rangers.
Rookie forward Nick Magyar went hard into the end boards at the Kiwanis Arena during practice today and had to be helped off the ice. He had the weight off his left leg after suffering an ankle injury.
He's not the only one down.
Centre Radek Faksa missed practice for a maintenance day after hurting his leg this past Friday against Windsor. He'll be a game-time decision tomorrow in Guelph.
Freshman blueliner Dmitrii Sergeev is out with a hip/groin issue and won't dress against the Storm.
And prospect Kegan Blasby is on the shelf long term with what appears to be a broken shoulder suffered while with the Jr. B Kitchener Dutchmen.
But there is some good news. Rookie defenceman Doug Blaisdell has been pratising this week and will be a game-time decision tomorrow. He has missed the past 11 games with a shoulder injury.
