The Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds have been the top ranked club in the Canadian Hockey League for most of the year.
The team has lost twice — twice! — in regulation time on home ice this season.
The forwards are fast, skilled and every line can score. The defensive unit has played more than 1,000 OHL games. And starting goalie Matthew Villalta has lost just a dozen times in the past two years.
Oh, and the 'Hounds were a perfect 4-0 against the Kitchener Rangers this past season.
It sure makes for a tough western conference final, which begins Friday at the Soo's Essar Centre.
