Tour de unicycle
For those of you who don't want to be limited to two wheels, there's Ride the Lobster, a five-day, 800-kilometre race across Nova Scotia, for one-wheeled cyclists.
Organizers told the Halifax Chronicle-Herald that they want the event to be a Tour de France for unicyclists.
It's to begin in Yarmouth on June 16 and pass through the
Annapolis Valley and then on to Cape Breton Island, where a big finish
awaits in Baddeck.
Organizers Ed Wedler and William Dockrill say the race, which they call the first of its
kind and distance in the world, has attracted interest from unicyclists from 17 countries.
