4,100 bikes recalled for faulty pedals

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a news release about the voluntary recall of 4,100 bicycles from Public Bikes of San Francisco.

The bikes, largely available in the U.S., were also sold in Canada from 2010 through this year by Cycle Couture in Toronto.

At issue is the Wellgo pedals, with reports of cracking and breaking. If you have one of the suspect bikes, you should contact your dealer for replacement pedals.
