If you're feeling a bit depressed after the latest on Lance, then perhaps this video, of Martyn Ashton putting a Pinarello Dogma 2 road bike through a Danny MacAskill-like test will make you feel a little happy.
OK, maybe not super happy since you and I would never be able to afford all the blown tires that resulted from these stunts, let alone the $16,000 Cdn necessary to acquire this puppy, but happy to know that there is more to road bikes than bike lanes and training rides.
And while I appreciate the Page 3-Britishness of the after-ride bike-cleaning team, would anyone really WD-40 their entire drive train after such a workout?

I am constantly amazed at the ability of anyone who can handle any bike that well but I shudder to think of the damage to that beautiful bike bouncing on and off all those jumps. On the other hand there is no reason in the world for a bicycle costing over $10,000 dollars except for the ego stroking it represents for some wealthy noob.

Definitely a fun video. As for the WD40, I agree but were you aware that they just launched a new comprehensive line of bike products: You'll have to check it out: http://www.wd40bike.com/
Thanks again for great blog.
