I, for one, welcome this move to rein in scofflaw cyclists. I too find that these cyclists put all of us in a bad light, giving the dwindling number of antagonists yet more fodder to fling at us, and giving media outlets more fuel to perpetuate the "motorists and cyclists at war" myth.
