Wasn't it just yesterday that I was at Velo-city Global 2012 Vancouver?
And I just got a notice from Velo-city Global 2014 Adelaide that the deadline for abstracts is coming up: Get them in by Oct. 11 for the May 27 to 30 international cycling conference in the capital city of south Australia.
Despite the occasional news reports of dust storms, wildfires and Biblical floods, the organizers assure us that Adelaide is a bicycle-friendly community ready to show its cycling infrastructure to the world. Flat, too, we hope.
In case you want to review some of the highlights of the Vancouver conf, here's a link to the conference blog. Seems like the Velo-city 2012 main website is being occupied by an unauthorized user. The Velo-city 2010 Copenhagen main site is still extant, which I guess means the Danish hosts held onto their doman name a little longer than the Canadian hosts did theirs.
