Chris

If this proceeds how many people will get doored on Sunday between 8 and 2?

Bill

@Chris We can only hope the street-side parkers are all at Oktoberfest. But seriously, there could be some weekend parking, esp. from the Habitat for Humanity going up. Of course, no one parks there now.

David

I can't tell you how much I hate street parking, when the parking is just "oh, take over this traffic lane. Whatever." I hate it as a cyclist, and I hate it as a driver. It's the worst idea for traffic flow ever.

Please, make the church-goers park on side streets, where they won't be endangering quite as many lives, or inconveniencing quite as many other drivers. BLARGH!

  • North America is eventually going to figure out that, for all the right reasons, we need more bicycles on our roads. Dust off your bicycle and go cycling. And if the gas-burning dinosaurs start to crowd you, it's your road and you paid for it. Take the lane for yourself.
