The two-day event (Oct. 6-7) is intended to inspire and empower young cycling advocates and municipal transportation planners. Workshops, speakers, contact with Queen's Park decision-makers -- kind of a bicycle-focused We Day, over two days.
It's a bit pricey for any youth member who is not subsidized by a local group or school: $35 a young person; $150 per adult. There is accommodation being made at a nearby school to cut the costs of staying overnight in big-city Toronto.
Since young people are often the drivers of change (be badgering their parents), this sounds like a smart move.
