Thanks, Johnny. I've adjusted the blog post. To me, though, the issue remains that these two Canadian players are not, yet as I said, as good as some of their press clippings would suggest.


You wrote "She has not beaten a high ranked opponent". You should check your facts before you post nonsense!

At Wimbledon Genie beat Kerber(7) and Halep(3).
At Roland Garros, she beat Kerber(8) again.
In Charleston she beat Jankovic(8).
At Indian Wells she beat Errani(10).

No she hasn't beaten Serena or Maria yet, but very few players do.
