Greg Gazzola did say there were good kids in his email to colleagues.

And I quote: "While it is true there are a handful of great guys that didn't do anything wrong, the problem is there are not enough of them anymore."

The unfortunate thing about the Bluevale situation is that kids who WANT to play and are COMMITTED to the team had no warning that there would not be a team to play on and are left with no opportunity to play because the minor hockey season has already started. Not all the kids on that team are as Gazzola described. A few bad apples spoiled it for the rest of them.

Good, fair coverage of the SJAM hockey fiasco. Hopefully other young athletes will learn from this.
