Puck points:
- Exciting finish to a playoff-like game. Not sure I'd want to meet Owen Sound in the first round if I were the Rangers.
- I like the energy that Curtis Meighan showed on the fourth line and on the penalty kill.
- It's 4-4 with about five minutes to go and Owen Sound is all over the Rangers. Where is the crowd? No chants, nothing. One finally materializes in the waning minute or so. Players tell me the crowd noise makes a difference. I see it in other rinks all the time.
- Kitchener has scored 35 goals in the past six games.
- Ben Fanelli played his first game in a visor tonight. Cage is gone.
- Defenceman Ryan Murphy has 15 points in his past six games.
