Usually, this time of year is a measuring stick.
But Kitchener Rangers coach Jay McKee is having a tough time rating his club at the quarter mark of the Ontario Hockey League's regular season.
"We're banged up, that's my assessment," said the skipper, whose Blueshirts lost to the Oshawa Generals 4-2 Sunday night at the Tribute Communities Centre.
"It has been a quarter of a season with a lot of adversity. It's hard to assess them with the amount of sickness and injury we've been through. It's crazy."
