After the past three winters, I'm loving the sunny and mild days we've been having.

Although, the past week I have seen the snow ploughs out. I suppose "testing" their routes for when the snow comes.

I had written off pogies last year as unnecessary and silly-looking, but I've changed my mind.

I had a heck of a time last year preventing water from getting into my brake levers and brake cables, causing them to freeze. I see now that pogies would pretty much eliminate that problem by enclosing the brake levers.

Thanks for bringing them to my attention again!

  • North America is eventually going to figure out that, for all the right reasons, we need more bicycles on our roads. Dust off your bicycle and go cycling. And if the gas-burning dinosaurs start to crowd you, it's your road and you paid for it. Take the lane for yourself.
