The Region is still looking for more participants for the GPS study, which has been extended and expanded.

Contact John Hill, the Transportation Manager for the region if you are interested in participating. His email address is his first initial and last name @regionofwaterloo.ca. Alternatively you can call 519 575 4019.

The census stuff is anti-intellectualism at it's rawest. The Conservatives mistrust science, and expertise in general, preferring intuition over evidence on any matter. Crippling the census was their best attempt at preventing those medaling statisticians from arguing with what King Harper knows, in his heart, to be the best policies for Canada. You will never see these people spending money on well intentioned data collection methods like these counters.
