I have never been more proud to live in KITCHENER.

Jeff S.

I took my kids (2 and 4) in the bike trailer. They had a blast! It was certainly a novelty for them, to be able to wander around on the street and not worry about cars. Everyone running the various booths were very friendly. And the overcast skies made the weather far more bearable. The live music was great, too (anyone know what bands were playing??)

As the article mentioned, the booths were spaced out a little too much. In the future, they should adjust the number of closed-off streets to match the number of booths. Or better yet, try to attract more displays!

I'll definitely be returning in September, weather and schedule permitting.

  • North America is eventually going to figure out that, for all the right reasons, we need more bicycles on our roads. Dust off your bicycle and go cycling. And if the gas-burning dinosaurs start to crowd you, it's your road and you paid for it. Take the lane for yourself.
