I like Norm Miller and was quite disappointed when the Liberals shot down his idea of paved shoulders so quickly.
Unfortunately for him, he has a leader that would never "waste" money on bicycles, and is fixated on gas plants.
Plus with Hudak being so close to the Ford's, what chance is there of anything positive coming from him?

I know Mike Colle said in 2007 that the Liberals would removed the PST on bicycle & fitness related items.
That became pointless when the HST was brought in, plus, I'm tired of the "health & environmental" benefits being promoted first.
Bicycles work in most of Europe because they are more convenient and cheaper. All the other things are just added bonuses.

Don't know much about Fife, but I was disappointed when Waterloo Bikes asked her for her thoughts on cycling in the last election, and all she could muster was a short generic twitter response.
Plus, I don't see Horwath as being much different than Hudak. Since she has taken over, it's "Cheaper auto insurance" & "caps on gas".

  • North America is eventually going to figure out that, for all the right reasons, we need more bicycles on our roads. Dust off your bicycle and go cycling. And if the gas-burning dinosaurs start to crowd you, it's your road and you paid for it. Take the lane for yourself.
